1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Major Moves ("we," "us," or "our"), the operator of the Move Different platform (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Move Different is a career and college exploration platform that helps students and adults discover pathways, assess strengths, save opportunities, and access resources. Some features are free; others require a paid subscription or linked guardian relationship.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep that information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, or use the Service under a parent or legal guardian's supervision where applicable.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed annually through our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, which means Paddle handles payments, billing, tax, subscription management, and customer service inquiries related to transactions. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your order date. Refund requests are processed by Paddle. See our Refund Policy for details.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, software, branding, and materials on the Service are owned by Major Moves or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes while you have an active account. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to infringe on intellectual property, to distribute spam or malware, to harass others, to scrape or reverse engineer the Service, or to interfere with its security or availability. You may not resell, redistribute, or circumvent access controls of the Service.

8. Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete or retain your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate. Career, college, and assessment information is for exploration purposes and is not professional, educational, or legal advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Major Moves' liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to liability. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, data loss, or goodwill, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Major Moves and its affiliates from claims, damages, or losses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
